Christian Science Bookshop in Egham

We are a bookshop and study centre dedicated to sharing the healing ideas of Christian Science.

Christian Science, discovered by Mary Baker Eddy, is a universal, practical system of prayer-based Christian healing, founded on the Bible. It is available and accessible to everyone. It is fully explained in Mary Baker Eddy’s primary text on spirituality and healing, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures

We are here for our community and as well as the Reading Room, our facilities include a walled garden (with access beside the bus stop in Church Road), where you are welcome to pray, read or have your lunch.

The Reading Room (bookshop) is open Tuesday to Thursday and every Saturday, from 11 am to 3 pm. We invite you to come in to browse, or ask questions. Our study room is a quiet place to pray, read, or listen to audio CDs of people sharing how they have found healing and answers to life’s challenges through this prayer-based spiritual study. We also have a weekly Bible Lesson to buy or read. We sell Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other works by Mary Baker Eddy, Bibles, biblical reference books, and a wide variety of other books, magazines and CDs, (both spoken word and music) on spirituality and healing, including children’s publications.

The magazines we sell are the international weekly edition of The Christian Science Monitor plus the Christian Science Sentinel, The Christian Science Journal and The Herald of Christian Science (in 4 languages).
